Helping homeowners analyze their needs for kitchen design and practicality for everyday life – today’s array of technology, virtually limitless choice of materials, and design influences from around the world distilled into a distinctive command central that suits you and your family. Creating a timeless classic, retro, or contemporary heart of the house my clients love to spend time in, for cooking, entertaining, relaxing, or managing daily activities.

Bath Renovations
Creating the ultimate home oasis with soothing colors, stunning materials, and all the accoutrements of a space you feel pampered in – every day. A cozy master suite with bath, a fresh kids bath look, or transformation of your powder room into a jewel box – the outcome will be lavish, fun, or plain outstanding – no matter the budget.

Color Guidance
Developing color for interiors – Building a paint scheme upon existing furnishings, or fashioning a complete new combination using imagination, designer-only tools, and examination of light sources. For decorative effects, I partner with imaginative and resourceful artists.

Custom Window Treatments
Crafting stunning custom window coverings for decorative or functional purposes. Fabric, natural shades, or complete light control drives my recommendation for Roman shades, wood shutters, blinds, solar shades, or curtains. Often, layered looks are created to give dimension and interest, “framing” the window while giving privacy.

Furniture Arrangements and Rearrangements
Do you have a challenging room with too many ins and outs? I assist my clients with a logical layout that works. Room size, scale of furniture, and frequency of usage all play a major role in how to arrange a conversation area, a calming bedroom, or a serviceable home study.

Acquisition of new Furnishings
Sourcing and purchasing services – Trade-Only Resources, Online, or Retail. Helping my clients get out of time-consuming weekend trips to stores by identifying their needs, style and budget, and making appropriate suggestions. I work with a wide variety of sources and product lines to make your interior eclectic and one-of-its-kind.

Media, Hobby & Game Rooms
Special purpose rooms call for special furnishings, whether it’s the oversized TV Recliner, dedicated Poker table, or a bar. Together, we come up with a space plan that accommodates and invites a variety of purposes for the room, so all members of the family can enjoy the space. Hobbies may be expressed through wall art, unusual accessories, or color.

Kids Rooms
Creating a fun room for a child that matures with its young occupant. Selection process (and subsequent toning down) of bright colors chosen by your budding little designer is gently adjusted for everyday use. Letting kids in on the design process is a major key to success!

Green Design
Guiding clients towards sustainable materials, processes, and making a smaller carbon footprint with local products. As the array of environmentally responsible design option widens, providing knowledge and recommendations while keeping with the desired style.

Custom Built-Ins
If all off-the-shelf furniture options fail to give the proper dimension, purpose, or functionality, a custom design may be required. I consult with many talented cabinetmakers in the Bay Area who craft amazing pieces. Quotes including building, finishing, and installing are derived from initial drawings outlining design solution the piece addresses.

Staging and other services
Redesign – Vacant – Consultation
Providing harmonious interiors to help your buyers visualize their furniture in the space, and turning a “home” into a “property”. Each staging campaign becomes a custom project, whether it is a vacant house, a condo in need of rearrangement & accessorizing, or a consultation only for hands-on sellers. Timeliness is a critical factor, and working well with listing agents a must. Let my 6+ years experience guide you to the right level of investment.

Holiday & Special Event Décor
For clients with little time, I orchestrate an exciting temporary display to show off their entertaining style. Holiday Parties, Christenings, Kids’ Birthdays, and many other joyful celebrations have been “staged” for discerning hosts. Cooperation with the catering service and providing the right props guarantees a fully integrated plan, working to enchant all guests alike.
